Who ships your order
Each listing is fulfilled by its own seller. A basket containing items from two sellers becomes two orders, shipped separately, each with its own status and its own delivery charge. That is said on the cart page before you commit to it.
Where we deliver
- Delivery is within India only.
- Each seller declares the PIN codes they serve. Use the Check delivery box on any product page to see whether they reach you, roughly how long it takes, and what it costs — before you add anything to a basket.
- Some listings are collection only. These say so on the listing and cannot be shipped.
- If a seller has not yet listed their delivery areas, the checker says so and invites you to ask them. It does not guess.
Delivery charges
- Charged once per order, not per item — one parcel, one charge.
- Set by the seller. Some charge a flat rate, some vary it by area, and some make delivery free over a certain order value.
- The exact amount is shown in your basket before you place the order, and again on the invoice.
How long it takes
Sellers give an estimate per delivery area, shown by the delivery checker and on the product page. Estimates are working days from dispatch and exclude the time a seller needs to prepare an order — which for livestock can mean waiting for suitable weather.
Estimates are estimates. Couriers are delayed, monsoons happen, and a responsible livestock seller will hold a shipment rather than post fish into a heatwave. If your order is late, the message thread on the order reaches the seller directly.
Tracking
When a seller marks an order shipped, they can add a courier name, a tracking number and a tracking link. All three appear on your order and in the dispatch email. Not every seller uses a tracked service — hand delivery and local collection are common for livestock — so an order without a tracking number is not necessarily a problem.
Live animals and plants
- Livestock is dispatched early in the week where possible, so a parcel does not sit in a depot over a weekend.
- Sellers may delay a shipment for temperature. This is good practice, not a delay to complain about.
- Be available on the delivery day. A bag left with a neighbour until evening is the single most common cause of a loss, and one that a seller cannot be held responsible for.
- Photograph any losses in the unopened bag, before acclimatising. See the refund policy.
Wrong address
Orders are sent to the address you selected at checkout, which is copied onto the order at that moment — editing your address book afterwards does not redirect a parcel already on its way. If you spot a mistake, message the seller immediately; before dispatch they can usually fix it.
Contact
For a specific order, use the message thread on that order. For anything else, the contact form reaches our support team — please quote your order reference.
